Course Details:

The following is an idea of the courses available at our school.  More intensive courses can be made available so if you have a specific course requirement or if you would like more details please contact us on the address above.

General English

This course is available throughout the year and is suitable for all levels from Elementary to Advanced.

• Classes begin every Monday
• All students are interviewed and given a placement test of grammar and listening to decide your level.
• Maximum class size of 12
• All students are aged 18 or over
• Groups of mixed nationality (EU, Asia and South America)
• Each class will use a course book plus other materials to ensure that the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are thoroughly practised
• Progress will be monitored by 6 weekly reports and regular (at least monthly) class tests of the material covered
• Class times: most classes are in the morning, from 9.30 to 12.45 (including a 15 minute break), Monday to Friday.
• There are also afternoon classes available on demand
• School Holidays: The school closes for a 3 week period over Christmas and a few individual days holiday throughout the year. In the next school calendar the holidays are:
  • Monday August 2nd 2010 (Summer Bank Holiday)
  • Tuesday November 30th 2010 (St. Andrew's Day)
  • Monday December 20th 2010 to Friday January 10th 1011 (Christmas Holidays)
  • Friday April 22nd to Monday April 25th 2011 (Easter Weekend)
  • Monday May 2nd 2011 (May Day)
  • Monday May 30th 2011 (Spring Bank Holiday)
  • Monday August 1st 2011 (Summer Bank Holiday)
